Roma & Co has Nonna’s spaghetti and southern-style meatballs, served with napoletana sauce or polpette where the meatballs are a bit spicy and served with napoletana, cheese chilli and toast.
Nonna would approve of the cafe’s slow-cooked beef and pork lasagne. The old favourite is full of flavour and great for lunch on a cold, wet winter’s day.
It’s certainly one of the tastiest lasagnes we’ve had for a while.
Nonna would give her tacit approval to the cafe’s vegetarian version too. This dish comes out of the kitchen as a vegan spinach and tofu lasagne and yeast as a cheese substitute.
