Restaurant Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Restaurant Manager experienced  in high end dining to join the team at our new restaurant, opening in late 2020.

This restaurant is the newest addition to the Pickett & Co group. Housed in the CBD, Scott & his team are re-imaging this classic space, whilst paying homage to an era where opulence and luxury served as a refuge from outside life and provided an opportunity to indulge in the finer things.

The restaurant manager will oversee our new 80 seat a la carte restaurant, 50 seat private dining room, 20 seat bar & new Pickett & Co Deli. They will have a passion for food and providing the highest quality of guest service whilst having extensive knowledge of the restaurant industry. They will have strong communication & organisational skills and experience in managing and leading a motivated and driven team. A strong financial acumen relevant to labour and cost control, to ensure you meet budgets and targets will be vital to succeed in this role. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Passion for excellence in guest service and managing the front of house team
  • Ensuring a successful launch and consistent operation of the Restaurant and Deli
  • Training and mentoring your team to foster their personal development and career progression 
  • Regularly meeting and proactively establishing relationships with both front of house and back of house team
  • The administrative and reporting functions
