About the business:

Since opening in 2014, Lucy Liu has become iconic in the Melbourne dining scene and is without question one of the busiest restaurants in the CBD. Located in the 'Paris-end' dining precinct of Flinders Lane, the Restaurant provides delicious Modern-Asian cuisine in a vibrant and busy 'street food' environment. Our beverage list is extensive - with a selection of 200+ bottles of wine & sake, 150+ spirits, local and internationally sourced beers and in-house curated, Asian-inspired cocktail list. 

About the role:

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, hardworking and be a valuable addition to the bar team. 

  • Confidently apply their beverage knowledge to pick up the Lucy's list and run with the team during service
  • Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to the standards of those set within the business
  • Be a team player with a can do attitude
  • Engage with customers in a polite and courteous manner

Skills and experience:

  • Enjoy working in a high volume, fast paced environment. 
  • Base product knowledge is a must including a strong cocktail knowledge of classics. 
  • It's a team environment so attention to detail, having a positive attitude, and strong communication skills makes this a good job for everyone
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
