Located in the heart of Paddington, NSW, Civico 47 is the place where you can catch up with family and friends and enjoy delicious and stylish Mediterranean inspired meals. We are looking for a full-time Chef De Partie to join our dedicated and professional team of hospitality staff. As a Chef De Partie you will be assisting Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure the very highest level is achieved in the planning of menus and culinary dishes (including preparation and presentation), cooking of meals and kitchen hygiene. In collaboration with our kitchen team, you will be promoting and maintaining Civico 47’s fine dining experience.
This is a full-time position.
As a Chef De Partie, your responsibilities will include:
· Preparing and cooking food within your specialty from raw ingredients when required to meet clientele orders;
· Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements as per clientele requests;
· Presenting and plating foods within your specialty and adding sauces and garnishes as required;
· Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality;
· Ensuring that dishes are prepared and cooked according to the specific restaurant standards;
· Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins;
· Ensuring storage units are kept neat and tidy, and food is stored in temperature-controlled facilities;
· Ensuring your area is clean and presentable at all times;
· Ensuring meals are prepared in a timely fashion;
· Ensuring all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are carefully adhered to.

Annual salary: $71,000, excluding superannuation
