Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef in menu planning and development.
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, assisting with training and scheduling.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and cost control.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor dish quality and presentation.
- Coordinate with the front-of-house staff for efficient service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant.
- Passion for Italian cuisine.
- Culinary qualification or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, safety, and sanitation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
