Canvas brings a bold new dining concept to the MCA, with a newly transformed space, stunning harbour views and a seasonal Chef-in-Residence.

For the launch of Canvas, MCA hospitality partner The Big Group has partnered with Josh Raine, former Executive Chef at the renowned Tetsuya’s, where he led the kitchen from 2018 until this year. With a distinguished background that includes iconic venues such as Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons in Oxford, UK; Pied à Terre in London; and St Betty’s in Hong Kong, Raine brings an inclusive and innovative culinary style inspired by the diverse places he has called home.

For Raine, Canvas is more than just a restaurant; it’s a blank slate where art and cuisine merge to create an inspiring and delicious experience. Raine has designed a menu that reflects his philosophy of bold flavours and refined techniques, honed over years of experience in some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens.
