Where to shop for winter outfits in Sydney

Sydney-siders, winter is coming!

While we’re no Melbourne or Tassie when it comes to our frosty temps (and for that, we’re thankful!), our fair city sure knows how to set the mood for a cold winter’s day.

We’ve compiled a list of five of our favourite fashion retailers to shop for winter outfits and of course, to help you prep for the pending temperature drop.

Here’s to looking great and keeping warm!

Tony Bianco

Shop 4057, 159-175 Church Street, Parramatta 2150

Established in 1972, Tony Bianco is Australia’s leading female footwear brand that celebrates a well-blended mix of street-luxe, androgynous, vintage and glamorous designs. If you’re looking to step it up a level with your next pair of boots, this is the place to go. Tony Bianco boots are both stylish and durable and should be a staple in your winter-drobe.

Uniqlo

Westfield Bondi Junction, 4060/3 Westfield, 500 Oxford St, Bondi Junction 2022

Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing apparel company that is changing the global game with its design and technology. Simply put, if you’ve never stepped foot in a Uniqlo store then you have been missing out. This is the place you shop in when looking for winter staples like coats, thermals and knitwear. The clothing brand is best known for its down coats, puffers and jackets, HEATTECH thermals (don’t even get us started on the science behind this), BLOCKTECH range (and on this!) and cashmere tops.

Harrolds

Westfield Sydney, 4/188 Pitt St, Sydney 2000

Taking luxury to a whole new level. Harrolds is what every department store should aim to be. If you’re on the lookout for designer brands like Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Comme des Garçons Play, Balmain, and Kenz, this is the store to visit (perfect for a spot of window shopping too!).

Gorman

118 Oxford Street, Paddington 2021

An Australian fashion label with local lifestyle and culture at the forefront. Founder, Lisa Gorman, is known for her in-house textile design, sustainability practises and regular artist collaborations where she works with artists to create fresh and liberating concoctions. When we think of Gorman we think bold, bright, abstract and unique designs, oh, and the epic raincoats and socks on offer. If you want to add colour (and then some) to your winter wardrobe, you best be paying this store a visit.

Mister Mister
Shop 126, Level 2, 412-414 George Street,   The Strand Arcade, Sydney 2000

This one's for you, gentlemen. Mister Mister is a made-to-measure menswear brand that creates everyday working garments (in other words stylish suits and shirts).
